Vonisha Service Foundation, an NGO in Bangalore, actively working for empowering the lives of underprivileged through education, health, sports and environment, collaborated with Dheya for planting a seed of big dreams among the children of migrant laborers.

On 24th September, 2022 an offline session on Career Options & Opportunities after 10th standard was conducted for 20, 8- 10th grade students of NIOS at St. Ignatius School Campus, Begur. The students got clarity on many of their questions like- why it is important to plan career, various educational opportunities after 10th std., associated futuristic career options, how to choose most suitable option etc.

Series of such sessions have been planned every week to help the students become aware, plan their careers and develop themselves, so they can achieve their dreams.

“The session was fruitful. The mentor Mr. Sandeep Krishna Moorthy engaged the audience very well to ensure the students open up with queries which made the session lively. Students asked questions to the mentor and he clarified patiently all their queries. Presentation was good as it was an interactive session. At the end of the session, children were in anxious stage as they need to do a lot of homework about themselves to know and understand their strength and potential better in order to select a career of their choice.”
