Smile Foundation has been working with the objective of empowering underprivileged children by providing education, nutrition, and healthcare support since 2002.  Smile’s scholarship and vocational training programme facilitates easy transition from learning to earning and giving less privileged children equal opportunities to pursue higher education, professional courses and technical careers.

Smile Foundation is now collaborating with Dheya Kaaryam for career guidance of 600, Tenth class students from 7 Government schools in Saidapet, Kundrathur, Sriperambadur  in Tamil Nādu

To flag off the project, Orientation and Psychometric Assessment was conducted by Dheya mentor Mr. K Prabhuram for 50 students in Saidapet Govt Boys School. He was provided full support by the school teachers and Smile Foundation staff. The orientation helped the students understand the importance of planning their careers to achieve their dreams. This motivated them to participate wholeheartedly and take the assessment.

Career Guidance by Senior Dheya mentors will help the students become self aware of their strengths and personality, so they can make informed decisions about their future careers and set them on a path towards successful and Happy Career.
