Lighthouse Communities Foundation (LCF) actively works towards building empowered communities through life skills, employment and entrepreneurship opportunities for disadvantaged youth across India.

Dheya conducted a 4 days Social Mentor Certification training program for counsellors of the Lighthouse Foundation. During the training, the counsellors had a chance to get a lot of insights about the process of Career Guidance and the impact it has on youth. It also helped them understand a youth’s psychology and how they can map out a career path for their beneficiaries. The trainees were tested and successfully qualified as Social mentors at the end of the training.

The trained social mentors are now conducting career guidance sessions for Lighthouse beneficiaries and helping them select suitable skill courses amongst those being provided by Lighthouse.
